Getting to the Festival

SANTA MONICA HIGH SCHOOL

• From Downtown Los Angeles Take the 10 Freeway (aka Santa Monica Freeway) west. Exit at 4th Street/5th Street. Stay left at fork and follow signs to 4th Street.

• From Los Angeles International Airport, the South Bay and Orange County Head north on the 405 Freeway, then Take the 10 Freeway (aka Santa Monica Freeway) west. Exit at 4th Street/5th Street. Stay left at fork and follow signs to 4th Street.

• From Woodland Hills and the West San Fernando Valley Head east on the 101 Freeway. Take the 405 Freeway south, then the 10 Freeway (aka Santa Monica Freeway) west. Exit at 4th Street/5th Street. Stay left at fork and follow signs to 4th Street.

Parking

Parking available off 4th street at the Civic Center Structure, 333 Civic Center Drive. Additional lots available both at the beach and near the Third Street Promenade.

Drop-off Access

Passenger drop-off access from Seventh Street via Michigan Ave. if arriving in morning when gates of festival open, please note this gate will not be open until 9:30 am, and you will need to walk around to the 4th st. entrance after being dropped off.

Public Transportation

Santa Monica High School can be reached via the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9.  Just a three block walk from the Metro Expo Line Downtown Santa Monica Station. 

By Bike

Attendees may bike onto campus and park at Racks spread along the grounds.

Accessible Restrooms are located in all open buildings at Santa Monica High School and the Santa Monica Public Library. At the high school, groups of portable restrooms will be located throughout the campus.

Please note, line accommodations can be made for all signing line types, but for ticketed signings you do have to reserve a ticket when they go live on april 19th! See the schedule page for more info on ticketed signings

ACCESSIBLE PARKING

Accessible parking is available on campus at Santa Monica High School. Placards must be visible upon entering the 6th and Olympic gate. It is recommended to arrange such parking accommodations in advance with the festival by filling out the form below, as on campus parking is limited. Additional accessible parking is available at city lot off fourth street.

Please submit parking requests by 4/25.

Santa Monica High School campus is ADA compliant, with ramps and elevators throughout the school. The elevation varies between presentation venues. We ask that all our guest do their best to keep entries and ramps clear throughout the day.
