Billy Ray

Billy Ray wrote the Oscar-nominated screenplay for Captain Phillips, for which he won the WGA award. Ray's films as writer, co-writer, or writer-director include "The Hunger Games," "Richard Jewell," "Shattered Glass," "Breach," "The Comey Rule," and the upcoming Hunger Games sequel "Sunrise On The Reaping." He also wrote the Nicole Kidman "We Make Movies Better" ad for AMC Theaters, which is the most successful ad of its kind in movie history. "Burn The Water" is his first novel. He believes in democracy, justice, and the Dodgers.
